Lighting Geek: Return, Refund Policy and 365 Days Warranty

Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase, and we’re here to help if you’re not completely satisfied.

  • 30-Day Returns: Return any item within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Opened or used items can still be exchanged or returned for store credit.

  • Restocking Fee: No restocking fee if returned within 14 days. A 10% fee applies after 14 days, except for defective items or those missing parts.

  • Shipping Costs:

    • First 30 Days: We cover return shipping.
    • After 30 Days: For exchanges, the buyer covers shipping costs in both directions.
  • Even Exchanges: Exchange for any product of equal or greater value, with minimal fees if there’s a price difference.

  • Quick Processing: We aim to process all returns and exchanges within 72 hours. If there’s a delay, we’ll keep you updated.

  • Fair & Transparent: Returns must include the original box and accessories. Missing items may incur fees, but we’ll always let you know in advance.

  • Customer Support: Got questions or issues? We’re here to help. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Lighting Geek Warranty Policy

  • Standard Warranty: All products come with a 1-year (365 days) warranty from the purchase date, unless otherwise specified. Some products have extended warranty periods.

  • Pre-Return Notification: Contact us by phone or email before returning items for warranty repair or exchange.

  • Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs after 30 days of an original purchase date.

  • Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover products that have been misused, abused, improperly applied or installed, or modified in any way.

  • Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty:

    • LED Stage Lights: 1-year (365 days) warranty for motors, PCB boards, and power supplies. Batteries have a 180-day warranty.
  • Liability: Lighting Geek is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the use or setup of our products. Any such issues should be addressed directly with the manufacturer.

  • Shipping Issues: We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by shipping. Contact us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date for a shipping fee credit or a replacement for damaged items.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Please note that the cost of return shipping or the restocking fee may automatically be deducted from your refund, if necessary.

Exchange and Repair

If your product is under warranty, you must obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending back the product for repair or exchange. To begin this process, please email at sales@lighting-geek.com and we’ll work with you from there to fix or replace your item.

At this time, we do not offer exchanges on products not in full condition. If you would like to exchange an item, you must return your original product within 30 days of purchase and then purchase a new item separately.
